RED MONOFILAMENT LINE

Some people believe that because red is one of the first colors to disappear in deeper water, the line becomes invisible to fish. While the red color might fade as it goes deeper, the line itself doesn't disappear. Fish might still be able to see it, even if the color looks different underwater.
